Another Credit Union Selects IT-Lifeline to Protect Critical Data

Horizon Credit Union's Wintel and XP Systems data to be secured off-site at the IT-Lifeline Recovery Center

SPOKANE, Wash., Sept. 15 (allCUnews) -- IT-Lifeline, the leading

provider in the Pacific Northwest for Disaster Recovery and Business
Continuity (DRBC) services for the small to medium sized market, announces
today that they have been awarded a new contract with Horizon Credit Union.
Under this contract, IT-Lifeline will be responsible for storing off-site
data backup for all of Horizon Credit Union's critical data.

"We look forward to working with Horizon Credit Union as we continue to
service the financial industry," said Steven Tabacek, President and CEO of
IT-Lifeline. He added that, "given the current regulatory environment these
kinds of services are being sought more and more, especially from the
financial industry."

"IT-Lifeline has proven that their staff is knowledgeable and that our
data will be safe and secure. We are proud to have them as an extension of
the Horizon team," said Greg Robinson, VP of Information Services at
Horizon Credit Union.

IT-Lifeline delivers a complete recovery and continuity solution, from
plans to action, for both core systems and business applications. It's a
solution that ensures full recovery from any type of system failure.
Located in seismically stable, climactically mild eastern Washington,
IT-Lifeline operates a financial services technology recovery hub.
IT-Lifeline delivers all levels of redundancy; from real-time continuation
of all or selected priority business operations, to backup and recovery of
critical data and applications.

From its beginning in 1947 to the present day, Horizon Credit Union has
grown from a small office serving the needs of one company to 17 branches,
providing membership to Eastern Washington, Central Washington and North
Idaho. In that time, however, Horizon has not forgotten the reason it was
established: to provide individualized service to families with common
needs.
