Lee Wojnar, VP of Marketing for O Bee Credit Union, is Volunteer of the Year for United Way of Thurston County
TUMWATER, Wash., May 11, 2009 (allCUnews) -- The United Way of Thurston County has announced its 2009 Community Impact Volunteer of the Year -- Lee Wojnar, Vice President of Marketing for the O Bee Credit Union. He will be honored at a special luncheon on June 11th. According to Pam Toal, Executive Director for United Way, "Lee is a terrific choice because he has brought us so many new ideas for energizing our many efforts." Each year the award is given to a person who meets the following criteria:
-- Shows commitment and dedication to the United Way of Thurston County through volunteerism.
-- Volunteers time to support efforts in one or more of our community initiatives.
-- Shows a commitment and dedication to the United Way mission (for example longevity of service or uniqueness of service).
