Firstmark Credit Union Begins Construction of 11th Branch Location

San Antonio, TX (PRWEB) March 15, 2011

Firstmark Credit Union recently began construction of its Alamo Ranch location at Hwy. 1604 and Culebra Rd. on the northwest side of San Antonio. Construction is expected to be completed by August of this year, giving San Antonio’s longest-serving, state-chartered credit union 11 local branches.

“Our members are very excited to hear that this branch is on the way,” said Leon Ewing, President, CEO of Firstmark Credit Union. “We have a strong membership presence in the area and this new location will provide added convenience for them,” Ewing said.

The design for the location was created by MDN Architects and construction is being completed by The Struthoff Company. Both companies are locally based and have worked with Firstmark Credit Union in the past.

“With 3,025 square feet of retail space, four drive-through lanes and two ATM lanes, the branch will be well-equipped to handle the needs of this growing area of the city,” said Jesse Martinez, COO of Firstmark Credit Union.
