First Data Names New President of First Data Debit Services

OMAHA, Neb.--(allCUnews)--Aug. 30, 2006--First Data Corp. (NYSE:FDC) has announced that Todd Strubbe has returned to the company as president of First Data Debit Services. Strubbe will oversee First Data's debit processing business which includes the STAR(R) Network, reporting to David Bailis, president, First Data Financial Institution Services.

Strubbe joins First Data from West Corporation, where he has served as president of West Interactive Corp., which delivers outsourced interactive voice response and advanced speech recognition applications for Fortune 1000 companies.

Strubbe was a key member of the First Data leadership team from 1995 to 2000, serving as managing director, System Architecture and Product Development; president, Electronic Payments Group (EPG); and vice president, Corporate Development for First Data Corp. As president of EPG, Strubbe was responsible for First Data's debit business, leading sales, marketing, client services, product development, and system development efforts.
