Sooper Credit Union Board Chairman Recruited For New CUNA Committee
Sooper Credit Union announced today that Board Chairman Dale Rutt has joined the newly-created CUNA Volunteer Leadership Committee.
Denver, CO. (PRWEB) August 18, 2011
Rutt has been chairman of the Sooper Credit Union Board of Directors for more than 5 years and is the former chairman of the Sooper Credit Union Supervisory Committee. He has also completed all of the Volunteer Achievement Program (VAP) training models offered by CUNA and is a Certified Credit Union Volunteer (CCUV).
Rutt was invited to join the committee by CUNA Chairman Harriet May based upon his position as a leader within the credit union community and his passion for the credit union movement. The committee's purpose is "to assist in the development of CUNA strategy for the increased involvement and support of credit union volunteers. In addition, a further purpose is to serve as a strategic leadership resource for CUNA, providing staff with advice and guidance for enhanced volunteer-centered initiatives."
