Sooper Credit Union Nominated for Community Impact Award

Sooper Credit Union has been nominated as one of two finalists for the Community Impact Award by the Credit Union Foundation of Colorado and Wyoming.

The credit union was nominated for its efforts to coordinate a capital campaign for the Arvada Community Food Bank in 2008 and 2009. "The food bank decided to name it's community room The Credit Union Community Room as a result of our efforts," said Mike Litzau, Executive V.P. of Corporate. "We are very pleased with our efforts as we continue to support the food bank with our community outreach program." The Credit Union Foundation will announce the winner of the Community Impact Award at their Fourth Annual Star Gala to be held on September 30th.
